Dongpu Reservoir (Dongpuzhang Reservoir)

A massive freshwater reservoir providing drinking water to Hefei, surrounded by hills and popular for scenic lakeside cycling and bird watching. The reservoir's clear waters are an important habitat for migratory waterfowl, including occasional sightings of the rare oriental stork.
