Fenghuang Ancient Town (Phoenix Town)

A beautifully preserved 400-year-old Miao minority town built along the Tuojiang River, famous for its wooden stilted houses (diaojiaolou) hanging over the water. Cobblestone lanes, old merchant houses, and stone bridges create a living museum of traditional Chinese architecture.
