Zhili Governor's Mansion

The best-preserved Qing Dynasty governor's office in China, this sprawling complex served as the administrative seat of the Zhili Province (now Hebei). Visitors can walk through the grand halls, ceremonial courtyards, and living quarters where provincial governors once ruled over the region near Beijing.
