Limb-Sparing Resection and Reconstruction for Sarcoma

Limb-sparing resection and reconstruction can be considered when limb soft tissue sarcoma is localized and functional preservation is expected while ensuring oncological margins. The decision is influenced by tumor size and grade, relationship with neurovascular structures, whether neoadjuvant therapy has been received and the response, patient's basic function and reconstruction feasibility, and is determined after evaluation by a multidisciplinary team.
