Supraglottoplasty

It can be considered when congenital laryngomalacia leads to progressive feeding difficulties, limited weight gain, significant increase in breathing effort, or episodes of hypoxia. If conservative management and reflux management are ineffective, or if there are synchronous airway lesions or sleep-related obstruction, a surgical plan can be included after specialist evaluation. The decision depends on the severity of the condition, laryngoscopic findings, general condition, and care conditions.
